Office Suppies!!!

Last week was one of the best for Clayton! It started out with getting the croup.(how is that good?) He got to miss school ALL week long! Then he went on a "date" with Dad. They went to ...Cabelas & Walmart! & had some wonderful one on one time with Dad. & to top off the night , when he got home there was the biggest Office Depot catalog anyone has ever seen waiting for him!(thanks again, Brown Family) When he walked in the door Kennedy & Claire showed the catalog to him & he dropped the bag! & with a huge smile went to his room to enjoy his new found prize! Later that night when Connor, Kennedy & I were at dinner with Grandma & Grandpa & the Family...Jayna brought Clayton ANOTHER office supply catalog that was ever bigger then the Office Depot thing! I don't know how things could get any better for him! the pictures don't do justice! Bill & I are wondering what will be the next big thing for him to be obsessed with, I am sure whatever it is will come from these catalogs!

 

 

 

 

Happy Birthday Claire!!!!

Claire is 4!!! I can not believe it! She has been such a joy to have her in our family! What a sweet girl she is & she reminds me to slow down & enjoy life. here are some things about Claire...

She had a really fun birthday. We met Claire's friends at Arctic Circle for lunch, cup cakes, and presents! She was very excited about that & she loved all her fun gifts. She was very excited that her friends could come, That was the best part! We came home & Claire wanted to go sledding. Our driveway was full of snow & was perfect. We spent a while out there sledding down our driveway! For birthday dinner we dined on...Ramen Noodles yum-yum(I didn't eat) When Dad came home we did the cake & more presents thing. It was a very fun & full day. After Claire was in bed, Izzy's (McBride)dad called & they wanted to bring by a gift. Claire was so excited! They brought over exactly what she wanted!BABY STUFF!!! She was so happy I don't think she will forget this birthday! I know she felt loved today & so did I! It is so wonderful to know so many people care for her!

I made BREAD!!! with YEAST!!!

OK. Look at this! I did it. After many failed attempts I made homemade, not with a bread maker bread! & it tasted good & looked good! Horaah for me!!! Maybe I will up to cinnamon rolls?!? I have always wanted too...

Christmas & New Years

Wow! Where did Christmas go? It came & went so fast! We had a great time & this year we went for very simple & I loved it! Hopefully the kids did too. I know the kids were excited, Kennedy was up @3:00 waiting, and the rest of the kids woke up @ 5:00. We made them wait until Dad & Claire woke up! We hung out at home all day then later that night went to our friends house to eat & play games. We had a lot of fun!

New Years Eve is always a very "exciting" time @ our house! We went to Albertsons. Then came home to watch TV, eat, play games & light fireworks!!! (We celebrated New Years @ about 9:30) so some people could get some sleep- Me, Clayton & Claire!

Good luck to all those people who have made their New Year's Resolutions! I hope you keep them!

Snow! Snow! Snow!

Today was the day!It snowed all day, i don't think it stopped until about 4:00. I think I shoveled my sidewalks & driveway about 3 times! Clayton hoped that he didn't have school today, because it snowed. Sorry!
After school Connor started building a snow fort with his friends. it is pretty cool. They are making snow "bricks" out of my bread pans. I think it will take a little longer then they thought but it is cool! Claire loves the snow! She gets all bundled up & likes to ride her bike down the driveway, & try to stop, but of course she can't! It is really cute! Clayton likes to ride his bike in the snow & try to help Connor build a snow fort! He likes to jump on the tramp with all the snow too! I like to shovel the sidewalks before anyone can get the chance to step on the snow. I HATE to shovel after someone has stepped on the snow, then it gets smashed down & it is hard to do!(that is my little OCD thing, one of my few) I also love to watch the kids play!

Claire is also learning how to wink! I have it on video! It is so funny! i will have to figure out how to get that on the blog!
